By using this Website you confirm your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions form part of the agreement between the client and ourselves. We recommend you to print out a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and you and we agree to use the English courts if there is any dispute between us. If any part of these Terms and Conditions of use is found to be invalid by law, the rest of them remain valid and enforceable.


“Terms and Conditions” refers to the terms and conditions set out below and agreed online. These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and binding contract between Gembid.co.uk and the user of this website. “We” or “us” refers to Gembid.co.uk.

“You” or “your” refers to the user or the viewer of this Website.

“Registered user” refers to any user who has created an account with Gembid.co.uk.

“Product” refers to a product or item that is for sale on this Website.

“Personal information” refers to the details provided by the user during the process of registration at Gembid.co.uk.

“Working days” means all days other than Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

“The contract is agreed” - by completing and submitting an electronic order form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.

“UK” refers to England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland.

Use of the website

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. We own the copyright to all the contents and materials of this website, including images. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any or all of the materials published on this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence. You may print or download any pages for your own personal and non-commercial use only.

We will try to make sure that the website is always available. However, due to the nature of the internet, this is not always possible, and we are not liable if the website is unavailable at any time or for any period. We reserve the right to terminate the website or remove any of the services on it with immediate effect at any time, for example if there is a change in the law that limits our ability to provide the website or in an event beyond our control stops us providing the website (e.g. technical difficulties).

We cannot guarantee that colors in our images will be rendered correctly on different computer monitors. There can be a slight difference between the colour of the item and the colour of the item seen in computer monitor. The product dimensions supplied are intended to give an approximate indication of the size of individual products. Products shown may not be actual size.

Buying and bidding

Gembid.co.uk is engaged in electronic trade and offers their products and services to their clients in cyberspace. The client can purchase the desired product via two sales channels: online shop and Pricefall auction. You have to register at gembid.co.uk by filling out the registration form if you want to order the products. See "Buying and bidding" for more details.


During the registration process you will be asked to enter your personal information: user name, valid e-mail address and password. By registering to this Website you warrant that the personal information you are providing is true, accurate and complete. You agree not to use a false name.

Your conduct

By using this Website to buy goods online, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or, if you are under 18, that you are placing an order on this Website with the consent of your parent or guardian. You warrant that you shall use the Website only for lawful purposes. You warrant that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, or otherwise exploit this Website for any commercial purposes. You shall not use the website in any way that will damage it or interrupt its provision.

Our rights

We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time when necessary, therefore we advice that you review these Terms and Conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.

We reserve the right to modify this Website without prior warning.

We also reserve the right to change the prices of the products at any time without prior notice. The availability of items is subject to change without prior notice.

Gembid.co.uk reserves the right to cancel buying online temporarily due to a system failure or other technical problem at any time.

We reserve the right to terminate the Website or remove any of the services on it with immediate effect at any time, for example if there is a change in the law that limits our ability to provide the website or if an event beyond our control stops us providing the website (e.g. technical difficulties).

Gembid.co.uk reserves the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, or any contract, at any time and refund the money paid in respect thereof.

Our liability and limits to our liability

We take no responsibility for any loss or damage suffered as a result of our "order online" service, or goods supplied using it, except as required by law, even if we could have foreseen the loss, or the possibility of it was brought to our attention.

We are liable for loss, damage, death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. We are also liable for fraudulent misrepresentations.


We warrant that the goods supplied will, at the time of delivery, correspond to the description given by us, be of satisfactory quality and fit for their general purpose.


You can browse this Website anonymously and without revealing any personal information about yourself. Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. If you choose to provide us with your personal information, you consent to the transfer and storage of that information to our servers.

You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate.

We understand the importance of your privacy, and we promise to look after your personal information. Any personal information you provide to us will only be used and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Order/ order cancelation

By placing and order you confirm that your personal information is true and that you are authorized to use the card on which payment was made. By completing and submitting an electronic order form, you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.

Please note orders will only be dispatched once we have authorization from your payment card issuer. We will not be liable if there is a delay, and we will not accept your order if payment is not authorized. After placing an order online we will e-mail you a confirmation of your order as soon as possible.  This e-mail will confirm what you have ordered and the price of the ordered goods. The payment must be made within 24 hours after receipt of confirmation e-mail. You will be able to view and check the orders you place with us in “My orders“ section of the website. When we dispatch your order we will send you a dispatch confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you provided. This e-mail marks our formal acceptance of your order and our obligation to complete the contract.

We can only accept orders from and to addresses in the United Kingdom.

Ordering online is easy at Gembid.co.uk.

Find what you are looking for by searching by jewellery category, brand, gender, material, stone, color, style and price. Select the desired product and add it to the basket. As you add products to your basket, the number of selected products will appear at the upper right side of you screen, enabling you to keep track of your purchases. You can also view the contents of your shopping basket anytime by clicking on the "Items in basket" button where you will see listed your current selection of items with quantity, price and current total amount for the products. You can edit the contents of your basket and remove any input errors by removing items or changing quantities.

You can enter the number of the gift or coupon if you have one.

Terms and conditions of coupon offers:

* Each coupon code can only be used once.
* Coupon codes cannot be used in conjunction with other offers (eg. to purchase discounted items).
* The minimum order amount must be met in order to redeem the coupon code.

The information about existing coupon offers is provided on Info Pages > Gembid jewellery voucher.

Once you have made your selection and you are ready to proceed with your order, click on the "Continue to next step" button. After that you should enter your shipping address and billing address (step 2). In the further steps you should select the shipping carrier, payment method (step 3). Carefully read section Delivery (step 3), Terms and Conditions (step 4) and submit your order. The order confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address shortly after you have placed the order.

Note: when participating in the auction, you confirm your participation by clicking on „Bid” button. You warrant that if you will win an auction you will buy the product. Bear in mind that you will not necessarily win the desired product.

We will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if in our sole discretion we consider it necessary. In particular we must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. If we refuse your order we will let you know as soon as possible. If we accept your order we will inform you without undue delay.

The contract between us will consist of these Terms and Conditions together with our privacy policy, your order and our acceptance. We will not file the concluded contract between us online and you should therefore print out and retain copies of each element of the contract. The contract between you and Gembid.co.uk for the sale of any items will be formed as soon as payment is completed.

If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel it at any time before we dispatch it. In case you want to cancel your order please contact us by e-mail and/or by telephone. You will need to give us your name and address details, as well as your order number to cancel your order. However due to the nature of the business and dispatch times the company will not allow cancelation of orders once the product has been dispatched and is therefore outside of our control.


Prices throughout the website are quoted in Pounds Sterling, and payment can only be accepted in Pounds Sterling. Because we trade in the UK, all prices on this site include VAT (Value Added Tax) at 20%.

If goods you have ordered online are unavailable, you will be notified as soon as possible.

If a pricing error is made on our website or in the ordering process we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of buying the goods at the correct price or cancelling the order. Your order will be cancelled if we cannot get in contact with you to notify you of the error.


All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. The delivery is free for all orders.

The payment for the products available from this Website can be made through PayPal. No contract will be formed in contravention of this.

The payment for the products must be made within 24 hours after receipt of confirmation e-mail.

The prices of the products shown in this Website are subject to change and can change without prior notice.


We only ship to addresses in the UK and Northern Ireland (except the Channel Islands).

The delivery is free for all orders.

We work with delivery company Royal Mail. The delivery is normally delivered within 2-5 working days of the order being dispatched.

Please note that whilst we will make every effort to deliver your goods by the estimated delivery date, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as adverse weather conditions we cannot guarantee that your goods will arrive by the estimated date. We will endeavor to meet any given date for delivery however we cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control. If we are unable to make the expected delivery date we shall inform you by email or phone as soon as possible.


Cooling-off period

When you order from us online, you are entitled to a cooling off period after dispatch, when you can return your goods without any penalty. Our cooling off period is 14 days, which includes any statutory cooling off period.  This period starts the day the contract is agreed (i.e. you receive an email from us saying we have dispatched your order) and ends 14 days after the day following delivery of the goods. The items may be returned within 14 calendar days of receipt of the items. Receipt of the items is deemed to be the date on which the carrier used says that they delivered the item.

Certain items are excluded from the cooling off period guarantee, unless we are at fault. These are personalized or engraved items. Due to the public health regulations, we do not accept returns on earrings.

Returning goods

If you wish to return goods you have a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until you return them. To take advantage of this guarantee, you must ensure that the jewellery is returned to as new, this means that:

• you must not remove the identification tag that is attached to the jewellery;

• you must not have altered the jewellery - for example, we cannot accept returns of rings that have been re-sized;

• you must return the jewellery in all its original packaging;

• you must ensure that the outer packaging is sufficient to protect the jewellery in transit.

Please note certain goods cannot be returned unless we are at fault. These are personalized or engraved items. Due to the public health regulations, we do not accept returns on earrings.


Provided that your jewellery is received by us as new, we will process your refund within 30 days of receiving your returned jewellery. We do not refund the cost of the original delivery charges or the return delivery charges.

When we receive the item returned to us for refund and are satisfied with its condition and the reason for return, we will process a refund for the full amount that was paid for the item in the same form of payment, and account, originally used for the purchase.

Rights of customers

Information on your statutory rights can be found at www.consumerdirect.gov.uk.

In the unlikely event that the item you bought develops a fault within a short and reasonable period from receipt then you can return it to us and, if we find it to be faulty, we shall exchange it for you. If, however, the fault is due to excessive wear or accidental damage you will not be eligible for an exchange. If it is found to be faulty we shall also refund your postal expenses in the form of a cheque. Please note we cannot make any concrete promises to exchange an item, or issue a postal refund, until we have seen and assessed the item.

The law

The Agreement for the purchase of products through this Website shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

Gembid.co.uk is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations, our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched up to 7 days from receipt, and Gembid.co.uk have 30 days to refund any payment following cancellation.

Good faith participation in games

The success of every web game depends on the good faith of the participants. Gembid.co.uk have a 14-day return policy and tries to enable the correct balance between allowing cancellations and returns and maintaining the integrity of the Web games. All participants in web games must place their bids in good faith with the intention of purchasing the item at the bid price. We reserve the right to cancel or block your account due to your unlawful conduct.
